Pooya Navid is a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with 14 years of experience, including 7+ years in the data center industry, specializing in advanced cooling solutions for hyperscale and colocation facilities. At Amazon Web Services (AWS), he develops high-performance, energy-efficient mechanical systems that support high-density and AI workloads.
Previously at Nortek Data Center Cooling, Pooya led the design of custom CDUs and developed numerical models to optimize PUE and WUE. He holds two M.Sc. degrees in Mechanical Engineering and certifications in data center cooling, bridging research and industry to deliver innovative, scalable, and sustainable thermal solutions.
